Dr. John Dory Curtis, Jr., MD is pleased to welcome you to his practice. Dr. Curtis has practiced since 1993 in all areas of general orthopedic surgery specializing in Total Joint Reconstruction, hip and knee replacements, fracture management, and sports injuries.

Shannon Hawkins
Shannon has over 17 years of medical experience and has worked with Dory Curtis MD for a total of 12 years. She has extensive knowledge of Medical Assisting, Surgery Coordination, Marketing and Practice Management. Her healthcare experiences include General Orthopedics, Spine and Sports Medicine, Trauma, Home Health, Hospice, and Medical Death Investigation with the FBI. Shannon has also worked alongside some of the most knowledgeable Physicians at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville Tennessee. In addition to medicine, Shannon has a Pageant coaching and photography business. She has a 5 year old daughter and enjoys traveling, photography and Alabama Football.
Mandee Hollis
Mandee has been a Registered Radiologic Technologist for seven years and has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Dory Curtis for three years. She is a graduate from Mount Aloysius College in Pennsylvania and has an AS in Medical Imaging. Her healthcare experiences include including mobile, trauma, and internal medicine, but has found a true passion in orthopedics.
Mandee is married to a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force and has a six year old daughter. She also has three furry children. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and crafting.
